Shoe Obsessed: A Series

Hey Guys!

Let’s talk SHOES. They are my kryptonite; the part of my wedding I probably most cared about was what shoes I was going to wear! I love them but sometimes it can be a hassle to find the right pair that are both stylish and comfortable.

I am also super obsessed with pink. One of my close friends who owns an amazing wig company and who also provides beauty services, mentioned the other day that although pink used to be perceived as a submissive and weak, however, these days, when she adorns the color, there is sense of empowerment that comes from within and I couldn’t agree more. I am not too fond of wearing color, however, pink is a staple in my wardrobe.

I feel that even if you are someone who is a little timid to the color, a great way to introduce it can be in your footwear. It is discreet enough that you won’t look like a walking piece of bubble gum, yet makes a statement and can put a whole outfit together.

I have rounded up my THREE favorite pink shoes for all occasions- professional, casual, and heels.

I got these super cute loafers when I was on my trip to Chicago! Topshop is definitely one of my favorite stores and the reason I fell so hard for these shoes were because of the metallic detailing on them. It made the loafers seem less old lady and more professional chic.

Pumas. Adidas. Nikes. These brands of shoes signify the epitome of Athleisure. However, I am more professional in my style (with a hint of edge). My friends in high school would always tell me I would end up being a business women because even at the young age of 14, I was fixated with longline blazers and tapered pants, not whatever was on trend at the time. These sneakers fit my persona perfectly, casual enough that I can wear them with a pair of jeans and tshirt, but still possesses that sophisticated twist detailing which adds to a basic trainer. Another Topshop buy, these shoes are super comfortable as well!

I was walking the streets of San Fransisco and hated the shoes I was wearing with my outfit. I felt like they did not match and was ruining the whole vibe I was going for. My wonderful husband ended up dragging me to four different stores before I fell in love with these heels in Express.

They matched PERFECTLY with my mauve pants and totally completed the look. I ended up wearing them from 11 am to 1 am the next day in these- walking through the hilly streets of San Fransisco as well as exploring mountains- a true test to how comfortable they were! I want to say these are the most comfortable pair of heels I have EVER worn. 13 hours of mostly walking in four inch heels? Amazing.

Shoes can be a hard investment, but these three pairs are not only chic and beautiful, but you won’t have to worry about achy feet either!

What’s your favorite brand of shoes to buy? I am always looking for affordable options that provide stylish footwear! Let me know :).
